Marmaris Quad Safari is a guided ATV tour conducted in pine forests and rugged terrain just outside the city. You drive on muddy paths, small water crossings, and challenging off-road tracks accompanied by experienced guides.
No licence or prior ATV experience is required. You are picked up from your hotel before the tour, taken to the track, and a comprehensive safety briefing is provided before starting.
Hotel pick-up and drop-off from Marmaris, Icmeler, and Turunc regions, a safety briefing with a short test drive, fully automatic ATV vehicles, an off-road track through forest roads and rugged terrain, and insurance are included within the standard scope of the tour.
If you want to get away from the beach and city crowds during your holiday, this tour is just for you. It is carried out on a special track surrounded by pine forests approximately 14 kilometres from Marmaris centre; while travelling to this region, you will also observe the unique nature of Marmaris, and it is also a suitable activity to clear your mind. We especially recommend this tour to participants who love off-road and are interested in ATV vehicles.
Anyone aged 14 and over can use an ATV. No documents or certificates are requested.
All vehicles are fully automatic. There are no gears, only gas and brakes. Even those using it for the first time can easily go out onto the track after a short test drive.
The tour proceeds in a convoy along the track. Experienced guides are located at both the front and the back of the group. Complying with the convoy order is the fundamental condition for both safety and fun.
Away from the city noise, in an environment filled with the scent of pine, you will find the opportunity to take photos and videos at break points while passing through muddy roads and streams. It is a tour focused on experience, not speed; therefore, it appeals to participants of all ages.
You are picked up from your hotel at your chosen session time by our comfortable transfer vehicles. On a journey of approximately 20 minutes, you reach the track by passing through pine forests. This region remains slightly outside of Marmaris, between Turunc and Icmeler.
When you arrive at the area, our professional team explains vehicle usage, track rules, and safety precautions in a simple way. Then, you get used to the vehicle by doing a short test drive.
After the completion of the test drives, the tour begins. You progress accompanied by guides on a track consisting of muddy paths, forest roads, and small water crossings. The large mud pit in the middle of the track continues to be the point the group enjoys the most. Especially after passing this mud pit, you will leave everywhere, including yourself, covered in mud with the mud and water coming from the wheels.
At the end of the tour, you are dropped back to your hotel via the same route. The return transfer is included in the tour price.
The total duration is 3 hours, of which approximately 1.5 hours is active track riding. It is organised in 4 sessions daily between the months of April and October; this way, you can include it in your programme without clashing with your other activities. Our advice for participants who do not like hot and very sunny weather or who have ailments such as blood pressure is to book the session that takes place at 16:00. We are telling you, the sun loses its effect during this hour interval. No licence is required and transfer is included in the price. Quad safari is not recommended for those with physical problems and ailments.
